FINANCE PROGRAM
Get out of the RED and into the BLACK and finally understand the importance of Standard Financial Planning.

Quite often we find that non-optimum situations have persisted for so long that they become a normal way of life. This definitely applies to finances. I remember one time asking a married couple, (that were not happy with their personal financial scene), what policy they were operating on regarding finances. They looked at each other for a moment and went into some deep thought about it and finally came up with, "We always seem to make it go right on our finances." This turned out to be the policy regarding finances that they were operating on for 20 odd years. I pointed out to them that while I could see how this may have some workability, I could also see how it would continually infer that they would be on the edge all the time regarding finances. When they looked over their married life together, they both realized that in fact, they were continuously coping on their finances the whole time they were together. They looked at how much they had lost as a result of this policy. Having to sell a house way below the market value because they couldn't afford the mortgage at one time, however, they did, "make it go right." Their high-interest rates on credit cards, etc. but they did, "make it go right." and did manage to make the payments. And despite having millions and millions of dollars pass through their hands, they were still in a critical financial position. I pointed out that if they had operated on a workable financial planning system and had a budget in place they would never have needed to have their, "We always make it go right." policy. They both
agreed.
